Are you wondering what is the big deal with open access? How can open access publishing and repositories benefit you and your scholarship?

Beth Bernhardt, Assistant Dean for Collection Management and Scholarly Communications for the University Libraries, UNCGBeth Bernhardt , Assistant Dean for Collection Management and Scholarly Communications at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, will give a talk on open access, its role in academia, and share success stories of faculty and researchers participating in the open access movement. F.D. Bluford librarians will also discuss new and exciting services that support open scholarship and data.

Light refreshments will be served.
