Race Films

“Son of Ingagi” (1940)

First Sci-Fi/Horror film with an All-Black Cast and the first written by an African American (Spencer Williams, Jr.). A story about a newlywed couple who move into the house of a scientist who has returned from Africa with a “missing link” monster.
