The University Archives houses a wealth of information that is available

the years. Other information in the collection consists of class schedules,
bulletins, alumni publications, research bulletins, student newspapers,
programs, budget materials, yearbooks dating back to 1939, departmental
brochures and newsletters, self-studies, faculty and staff directories,
handbooks and manuscripts. Scholars seeking information on outstanding alumni
may use the materials on Jesse Jackson, Joe Dudley and Ronald McNair. Other collections include the papers
and documents of John Wray, Gerald Marteena, F.A. Williams, R.E. Jones, B.W. Barnes, George Simkins,
Margaret Tynes, Hal Sieber, Armand Richardson and the Virgil Stroud scrapbooks. The University Archives
