| Regulations |
- When borrowing materials, present the NC
A&T ID Card at the circulation desk.
- Borrowing privileges are not transferable.
- Borrowers are responsible for items borrowed
until returned to the library.
- Replacement costs for lost or damaged materials
includes the charge for the materials plus a $15.00 processing
fee.
- Most materials may be renewed once. Overdue
and high demand books may not be renewed. Renewals may be made
by telephone, 334-7617.
- The checkout limit for: Undergraduate – Ten
(10) books, Graduate & Students in the Honors Program – Twenty
(20) books.

| Billing/Lost Status |
- If library materials are not returned 30
days after the due date; the materials will be presumed lost
and all library privileges will be blocked. The student will
also be charged the replacement cost plus a $15.00 non-refundable
processing fee. If the book is returned after the item goes lost,
the patron will only be responsible for the $15.00 billing fee
and will receive a credit slip for the remaining balance.
- Lost book charges must be paid at the Cashier’s
Office in the Dowdy Administration Building before students are
allowed to check out additional library materials,register for
the following semester, graduate or receive transcripts from
the University.

- Books(Main Collection & Black Studies) -
3 weeks during the Fall/Spring semester,2 weeks during the Summer
and Inter-sessions
- Reserve Materials - 2 hours, overnight, 3
days or 1 week
- Audiovisuals - 3 days
- Government Documents - 1 week
- Laptops - 4 hours (Library Use Only); 3 days (Out of Library Use)
- Learning Resource Center (LRC) - Books circulate
for a period of 3 weeks during the Fall/Spring semesters; 2 weeks
during the Summer semester. Professional materials including
textbooks, vertical files, and curriculum guides circulate for
in-house use only.
