Faculty: Looking for a Great Place to Write?

The library has The SPOT for you!
For many faculty, summer means swimming and writing, but not necessarily in that order.

This summer, Bluford Library is supporting the Faculty Writing Initiative by inviting you into the newly-transformed SPOT. Located in Suite 100, off of the library foyer on the first floor, the SPOT is a flexible, casual space that is great for faculty writing.

Featuring a variety of comfortable seating options to fit your style, campus wireless, and ample power outlets, the SPOT can become your place to review research materials or craft your next publication. While keeping your technology recharged, you can also recharge yourself: food and drink are welcome in The SPOT.

White boards and a conference room are available if you need collaborative space.

The SPOT is available on a drop-in basis during summer library hours:

Sunday 2pm–10pm
Monday – Thursday 7:30am–10pm
Friday 7:30am–5pm
Saturday 10am–4pm
