Visualized Excellence: First Lady Michelle Obama's Visit to N.C. A&T S.U.

A library exhibit about our 2012 Spring Commencement speaker.

North Carolina A&T State University is on the path to preeminence, as outlined in the university’s bold new strategic plan. The university’s Spring 2012 commencement speaker, First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, affirms this vision for the future. The F.D. Bluford Library highlights Mrs. Obama’s visit in the context of the university’s journey to preeminence in the exhibit “Visualized Excellence: First Lady Michelle Obama’s Visit to North Carolina A&T State University.”

  • Alignment of Mrs. Obama’s vision for the Class of 2012 with Preeminence 2020, North Carolina A&T State University’s strategic plan, particularly in the areas of academic excellence and service.
