A&T College Summer School Bulletins 1924-1978

North Carolina A&T has the oldest Summer School program in the nation for African Americans. The Summer Bulletin was produced quarterly until 1962 when it began being published six to seven times a year. The Summer School offered a single session through most of the 1920’s but by 1932 was offering two sessions per summer. In 1962 the school began offering three sessions per summer. The collection includes bulletins from A&T College beginning in 1924 through 1978. The collection has a few small gaps including 1943-1945, the last three years of World War II. The collection also contains one example of a Summer School application from 1966.
